Islamabad: A quarter pound shrew can carry the weight of fully-grown man, thanks to its unique interlocking backbones, which we never thought about it as much stronger it can be, and that makes its spine incredibly strong, a research has found. The small greyish brown mammals, which are related to moles and hedgehogs, look like chubby, long nosed rats, but also have one of the curious skeletons. As scientists are not sure about it that why the tiny animals developed such strangest backbones. However, this study has made in US, that scanned the shrew’s super strong spines has shown that they can support considerable force from head to tail of it. Therefore, this capacity would support the unproven theory that the creatures use their spines as a brace as they force open palm tree trunks to get at different insects to eat.

There are few western scientists only became aware of this shrews around almost a century ago, however those people who live in the mountains specially have long known of the this shrews, who is incredibly strengthen one in the small mammals. According to one story, there are few people who were walking on a mountain’s path, suddenly a shrew came from the behind of a bigger rock and ran away towards a small rock. People who were looking at it, one of a person hit that shrew with a rock but that shrew was still going towards his way, it is, as it does not even feel of that hit. It looks that shrew must have a strong backbone.
